Exhibition statement:
“No two people move through a place in quite the same way, each moment shaped by their own personal perspective. “Hometown” gathers those distinct impressions into a kaleidoscope of viewpoints, where texture, material, and imagery attempt to capture the essence of place. The work in this exhibition offers a glimpse into how an individual sees, feels, and connects with their surroundings. Together, they form a collective portrait of Houston, seen through many lenses.”
